Find out more about Dr. Huerter

Q: This morning I had sharp, jabbing pains behind my left breast and a subsequent dull ache down my left arm (almost a numb feeling). It happened first when I was lying in bed and then later off & on at work. Earlier this week I'd had numbness/tingling in my left arm (but no pain at that time). I talked with my doctor and he told me to take ibruprofen  I don't know if I should be concerned or not.

A: We recommend that you continue talking with your primary care doctor. Let your doctor know that chest pain has now become one of your symptoms and your doctor may want to schedule you for further testing.
