Q: I have pain in my left breast.  Even when I breathe sometimes it hurts. It only comes and goes once or twice a day.  Is this a heart problem?

A:  This probably does not represent a heart problem. Chest pain due to heart attack will usually be with exertion., last five minutes or longer, not affected by breathing and relieved with rest.
