New Year's Resolutions: Finding the right combination of diet and exercise is key

You're out of shape, it's New Year's resolution time and you may have decided that it's time to do something about it. But if you're resolving to eat healthier, exercise and lose weight, "take it slow and make gradual changes," say fitness trainers at Alegent Health.

 

 

The most successful individuals find the right combination of diet and exercise that works for them.  For example, don't resolve to jog if you don't like running.  Or perhaps you need a personal trainer or friend to help motivate you.

Alegent Health fitness trainers caution that you should eat healthy, not starve, and expect results - but not within 24 hours.
