Rev. Dr. Reuben T. and Darlene M. Swanson Community Education and Conference Center

• Location: Garden level of Lakeside Hospital
• Size: 7,135 square feet.

Purpose

• Primary campus location for meetings and community events. The Center will host various educational and wellness events and classes, including the Alegent Health Heart Fair, Orthopaedic Fair, health screenings, Joint Replacement Center seminars and childbirth education classes.

• Funded in part by an $850,000 gift from Rev. Dr. Reuben T. and Mrs. Darlene M. Swanson of Omaha. Dr. Swanson is a retired Lutheran minister who served as a member of the Immanuel Hospital Board of Directors for 20 years, including two years as chairman.

• Three classrooms able to accommodate 25 people each; can be joined together for larger groups of up to 225 people.
