Lakeside Hospital Volunteer Services and Gift Shop

• More than 70 volunteers dedicate time to Lakeside Hospital and fill a number of roles at various locations within the hospital, including the gift shop, emergency department, surgery family lounge area, welcome center, patient escort, volunteer office and special projects.

• The Lakeside Hospital volunteers are easily identifiable in their fashionable forest green tops and khakis.

• The Lakeside Hospital Gift Shop located in the main lobby of the hospital featured 700-square feet of unique gifts for all occasions and for all ages. The shop features beautiful fused glass items, travel accessories and exquisite home décor items. Other merchandise includes everyday items such as greeting cards, balloons, candy and sundries. The gift shop also has an array of fresh, silk and dried flowers, jewelry, candles, bath and body products, artwork, pottery, ceramics, crystal, and baby and plush items.

• Lakeside Hospital Gift Shop is staffed by an energetic group of volunteers. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, noon - 4 p.m. The gift shop accepts credit card orders by telephone for flowers, balloons or a gift of your choice. The gift will be delivered to the patient's room in our signature gift bag by one of our kind and compassionate volunteers.
