On behalf of the Alegent Health Board of Directors and our staff of more than 1,200 physicians on its medical staff and roughly 8,400 employees caring individuals, we thank you for choosing us for your care. Color-coded Caregivers

During a hospital stay, you're usually out of your comfort zone. Unlike  at home, you may not recognize many of the people who come to your door.  Various caregivers come in and out of your room, and it can be difficult  to keep them straight. At Alegent Health, we want to make our guests as comfortable as possible.

That's why our different healthcare professional  groups will wear a specific color-to make it easier for patients and family  members to quickly identify the role of each member of their care team.  Starting July 1, 2007 you can recognize healthcare professionals by the following colors:
