Formed on January 1, 1996, Alegent Health is sponsored by Catholic Health
Initiatives and Immanuel Health Systems and is founded on the traditions of the
Sisters of Mercy, Regional Community of Omaha and the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America, Nebraska Synod.
