alegent.com wins prestigious eHealthcare Leadership Award

Alegent Health's web site, alegent.com, has been recognized as a leader among the 1,200 web sites entered in the fifth annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards.

Judged by an independent panel familiar with healthcare and the Internet, web sites were rated based on a standard of Internet excellence and how they compared with others in their group classification. The Alegent Health web site received the Gold Award for Best Health/Healthcare Content. Judging criteria for this award was based on how extensive, balanced, up-to-date, well-organized, and credible the information is on alegent.com.

"We are honored to be recognized and believe an integral part to our award is the significant amount of content generated internally from our own healthcare professionals, as well as our health news, monthly health observances and the way we integrate content into our pages," said Jackie Goss, web project coordinator.

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards are presented by eHealthcare Strategy and Trends, a leading Internet publication and online resource.
