Alegent Health offers programs in three allied health
professions. All three enable you to combine your compassion with training
to prepare you for a career in direct patient care.
Medical Assisting
The Alegent Health School of Medical Assisting is a 1-year program which includes 260 hours of externship in a medical clinic.
The program is a joint effort between Alegent Health and Metropolitan Community College and strives to integrate and correlate theory with clinical education. A student will progress from directly supervised performance of duties to indirectly supervised performance.

Radiologic Technology
The Alegent Health School of Radiologic Technology was established on July 1, 1996 from the consolidation of Immanuel and Bergan Mercy Radiologic Technology programs.
The art and science of radiologic technology combines
advanced technology with human compassion. While it is one of the youngest of
the allied health fields, the profession has expanded tremendously in demand,
educational advancement, new techniques and subspecialties.
