Faith Community Nursing Network

How to Join the Network
The Network is seeking supportive congregations of all faiths and spiritually mature registered nurses or other leaders to promote whole-person health within churches, synagogues, mosques or temples and in the communities they serve. A covenant agreement is signed when the congregation is fully committed to developing a culture of health and wellness within their congregation and community, and the nurse or leader feels called to serve in this capacity and is able to fulfill its requirements. The program belongs to the congregation. However, Alegent Health will provide training and resources empowering member congregations to build a ministry of health based on their own unique strengths and gifts.

Criteria for FCNN Nurses

Attend the Faith Community Nurse Preparation Course and required meetings
Comply with state and Faith Community Nurse Standards of Practice
Hold active RN license and liability coverage
Give at least four hours weekly to build the program in your congregation
Complete web-based documentation
Empower your congregation and community to promote whole person health
