Either the Principal Investigator or the PI staff can enter information into eIRB for new studies, changes to the research and continuing reviews, but ONLY the Principal Investigator can SUBMIT (click the submit button) new studies and continuing reviews. Any authorized PI staff member can enter and submit information regarding changes to research once initial approval has been granted.

• Go to www.myetrialtrak.com
• Click on the drop down menu and choose Alegent Health from the list of organizations
• Click GO
• Log into eIRB using your login and password
• Click “What would you like to do”
• Click “Submit a new study”
• Click the New Study box to the right of the screen
• Complete each page of the Application for Initial Review
• NOTE: you MUST click save a the bottom of EACH page to have each page of information be saved
• Attach all required documents and complete the required test boxes relevant to how you answered particular questions
• Once all your information is entered and you have saved each page of the Application, have your PI sign on, go to the “Submit to eIRB page” and click the submit study to IRB button.
   

Your submission will then be processed by the IRB Administrative Staff. Should there be clarifications/corrections to the submission, the IRB Administrative Staff will send the submission back for clarifications/corrections. The  Principal Investigator and any additional personnel listed in the submission to receive IRB correspondence will receive an email notification of the required clarifications/corrections. Make the required corrections and the  Principal Investigator  will re-submit.
