Alegent Health Clinic in Gretna Welcomes New Physician

GRETNA, Neb. -The Alegent Health Clinic in Gretna is proud to welcome family physician William Lowndes, M.D. As part of Alegent Health Clinic's efforts to increase access to health care services in Sarpy County, Dr. Lowndes has decided to relocate from the Alegent Health Clinic at Lakeside to the Alegent Health Clinic in Gretna.

Dr. Lowndes received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his residency in the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Program in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dr. Lowndes is Board Certified and has been in practice in southwest Omaha for 19 years.

As a doctor of family medicine, Dr. Lowndes provides primary care and specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Family Medicine practitioners also provide preventative care and health education for female and male patients of all ages.

Dr. Lowndes begins seeing patients in Gretna on July 2. He joins Michelle Buller, PA-C.
