Genetic Testing KPTM

Despite regular screenings and monthly breast examinations, for some women, breast cancer can't be avoided. It's in their genes. Women can now undergo genetic testing and not be afraid of discrimination. That's because of a new law called the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act or GINA. It provides vital protection for Americans against the misuse of genetic test results by health insurers and employers. KPTM shares one women's story.
