Each hospital in the Alegent Health System owes its existence to generosity of those who give their time, talent and treasure to ensure the very best healthcare for the communities in which we live and work. That tradition of philanthropy remains vital to our mission of healing the body, mind and spirit of each person.
The Alegent Health
Foundation
was established to raise money in support of the five metro Alegent Health hospitals: Bergan Mercy Medical Center, Immanuel Medical Center, Lakeside Hospital, Mercy Hospital (Council Bluffs, IA) and Midlands Hospital, and Alegent Health Hospice.
Gifts to Alegent Health enable
us to provide care for the underserved, seek innovative solutions to complex
health problems and make state-of-the-art technology available to our patients.
You may direct your gift to support the hospital or program of your choice with
the assurance that 100% of your gift will benefit the project you designate.
Additionally, you may make your gift in honor or
memory of a special person or event.
 Caring Spirit is a program that enables you to honor a nurse,
physician or staff member who made your experience special or had an
extraordinary impact on your quality of care.
There are a variety
of ways to make a
tax-deductible gift, including some that provide a lifetime
