Find out more about Dr. Schropp

Q: I have been in complete menopause for four years. In the last two weeks I have had unexplained bleeding. Should I be concerned and what type of health professional should I see?

A: As a rule of thumb, any bleeding after menopause is abnormal until proven otherwise.  We would suggest you see a gynecologist to get a sampling of the lining of the uterus just to reassure ourselves that every thing is ok.  If you have any other questions, please let us know.
