This Emergency Department is a Level II trauma center that provides:

- Our Accredited Chest Pain Center located within the emergency department that offers rapid rule-out myocardial infarction testing
- The Emergency Department also cares for a large number of orthopaedic, pediatric, OB/GYN, lacerations, general medical, respiratory and surgical patients.
- The Emergency Department is staffed with emergency certified physicians, registered nurses and emergency department technicians.
- The Emergency Department is located on the east side of the hospital.
- Air emergency transportation systems are available.
- 24 hour a day coverage by physicians specializing in emergency care.

An Accreditated Chest Pain Center

The accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers is awarded to hospitals demonstrating expertise and commitment to quality patient care and treatment of chest pain.

These centers serve as a triage point to quickly diagnose and treat chest pain, allowing patients to receive the level of care that is most appropriate for their condition.
